英語の学習法

あなたはこれから英語の学習を始めるところでしょうか。それとももうかなりの時間とお金を使ってきましたか？
Are you just about to start studying English now? Or have you spent a lot of time and money on that already?

私は英語講師として、さまざまな生徒さんに接してきました。人によって悩みやつまずき方は色々です。それを解決するのが私の役目です。
As an English teacher, I have seen a variety of students. Everyone has different　problems and gets stuck at different stages. It is my duty to help them solve those problems.

そのなかで私が特に気になった悩みが、「がんばっているのに成果がでない」「情報が多すぎて結局どうしたらいいのかわからない」というものでした。
Some of those problems particularly catch my eye. They are, for example, “My efforts never seem to bear fruit”, and “I’ve got too much information and don’t even know where to start.”

がんばらなくて結果が出ないのは当然です。自分で何も調べないでわかるはずがないのも当然です。
If you don’t try hard, of course you won’t get the results you want. If you don’t look for yourself, of course you won’t find what you need.

しかし現在英語を学んでいる人のなかでは始めに述べたような人がたくさん出てきているのです。やる気はあるのでがんばっているんです。けれど、どうしても壁が打ち破れない。きちんと準備しようとおもって調べた。しかしいろんな人がいろんなことを言っていてわからなくなってしまった。

But more and more English learners are having the same problems as I mentioned above. They say that they have enough motivation and that they are trying hard, but they can’t seem to get over their difficulties. They say that they looked for the　information they needed to be well-prepared, but different people say different things confuse them.

こういった人達の手助けを私はしていきたい。自分ではどうしても超えられない壁はのりこえる方法を教えてあげたい。 　

These are the people whom I want to help. When they are faced with some problems that they can’t deal with by themselves, I want to help them find out how to get over those difficulties.
